The ones I enjoyed talking to most were the ones that could explain things well. It would not surprise you to learn that they also asked a lot of questions and seemed interested in other people’s work. Of course, there were the braggarts, as well, and a few cantankerous geniuses who didn’t work well with others. But some of the most gifted, accomplished people were actually quite humble, and nearly always inquisitive.
